My aim in doing the presentation about the monetization of falsehoods, fear, ignorance, and conflict is encourage discussion about this critical, but overlooked issue. The presentation consists of two parts. The first is to be released on December 3; the second, sometime in January. These describe the nature of the problem. Ideally, there will be enough interest in a third session, in which we can discuss practical ways to address this problem. Ideally, discussion about the first two parts will facilitate this.
